The first Hong Kong Precision Radiotherapy Symposium was held on April 8, 2017, at Queen Mary Hospital, organised by the Department of Clinical Oncology. Guest speakers included Professor Arjun Sahgal, Sunnybrook's Hospital, Canada and Professor Charlotte Coles, Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge, UK, who delivered lectures on stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) for spinal metastases and partial breast irradiation, respectively. Dr Victor Lee Ho Fun (李浩勳) provided an update on the local experience of SBRT for liver cancer and spinal metastases as well as the prognostic role of plasma EBV DNA on the five-year survival of nasopharyngeal carcinoma. More than 150 local and regional delegates attended.
